BlackBerry Torch 9850 (Sprint) Hands on Video
CIO.com's mobile beat writer Al Sacco goes hands-on with RIM's brand new BlackBerry Torch 9850 smartphone from Sprint.
A handful of new BlackBerry smartphones are currently in the process of being released in North America, including the BlackBerry Torch 9810, Torch 9850/9860 and Bold 9900/9930.
I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Torch 9810 and Torch 9850, as well as a Bold 9930, ahead of their official releases, and I, along with my colleague Keith Shaw, decided to throw together a quick video walkthrough of each. (Check out my BlackBerry Bold 9930 and BlackBerry Torch 9810 walkthroughs.)
These videos aren't meant to be full reviews. I plan to post up in-depth evaluations of the devices after I spend a week or so with the new BlackBerrys. But the clips will give you a good feel for what to expect from the three handhelds, from both a hardware and software perspective.
Sprint's Torch 9850 will be available starting August 21, and the device will cost $149.99 along with two-year service agreement and after mail-in rebate. Visit Sprint's website for more information on the Torch 9850 or pop on over to RIM's site for details.
