Just the Facts:The 2014 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD, the brand's new flagship sedan, will debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.Honda describes it as "the most powerful and technologically advanced Acura sedan ever made." The RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD is equipped with a 3.5-liter SOHC direct-injected i-VTEC V6 engine and three electric motors for a combined output of 377 horsepower.

LOS ANGELES — The 2014 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD, the brand's new flagship sedan, will debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show later this month.

Honda describes it as "the most powerful and technologically advanced Acura sedan ever made."

The RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD is equipped with a 3.5-liter SOHC direct-injected i-VTEC V6 and three electric motors for a combined output of 377 horsepower. The powertrain is connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch automated-manual transmission. Honda says it has an anticipated EPA fuel-economy rating of 30 mpg combined.

The RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD is expected to go on sale next year. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.

The hybrid flagship model joins the current 310-hp 2014 RLX with Precision All-Wheel Steer in the lineup. The 2014 Acura RLX ranges in price from $49,435-$61,435, including a $985 destination charge.

Edmunds says: Don't be surprised if the 2014 RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD comes in at around $70,000.
