Just the Facts:Honda continues tweaking its Civic model lineup, freshening exterior styling for the 2014 Civic Coupe and Coupe Si.The performance-oriented Civic Si models get another 5 horsepower and a revised suspension. The bold-looking but sleepy-performing CR-Z hybrid gets a heavy-duty tune-up from Honda's HPD performance-tuning unit in time for the 2013 SEMA Show.

LOS ANGELES — After healthy exterior and interior tweaks to the 2013 Civic sedan, Honda's refreshing the look of the 2014 Civic Coupe and also injecting a little extra power and torque for the 2014 versions of the Civic Si models.

And just in time for this week's annual SEMA aftermarket-performance show in Las Vegas, Honda unveils the HPD CR-Z Street Performance, a performance version of the CR-Z hybrid modified by Honda Performance Development.

The 2014 Civic Coupe gets renewed styling in the form of a bolder grille and a revised fender, hood and headlight design. There also are restyled taillight lenses, more assertive front and rear bumpers, new side mirrors and new wheel designs, including a wheel upsizing for some 2014 Civic Coupe trim levels.

Meanwhile, the performance-oriented Civic Si Coupe gets essentially the same exterior makeover, but amps up the impact with "Si-exclusive design cues" that include a unique lower front bumper garnish, larger spoiler on the rear deck and Si-specific front and rear air diffusers. Both the Si Coupe and Si Sedan get larger 18-inch wheels with new wheel designs.

That's not all for the 2014 Civic Si models. Thanks to revised exhaust tuning, there's a 4-horsepower boost to 205 hp in total and torque also improves by 4 pound-feet to 174 lb-ft. To accompany the power boost, the 2014 Civic Si Coupe and Sedan have tightened suspension tuning via higher spring rates, new dampers and a stiffer rear stabilizer bar.

Honda this week also revealed the HPD CR-Z Street Performance, a highly modified version of the CR-Z hybrid meant to display the scope of performance accessories available from Honda Performance Development, the company's aftermarket-tuning division. At the heart of the HPD CR-Z's transformation is an HPD-designed supercharger for the car's 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that boosts total power to 190 hp. Other HPD accessories include a sport suspension kit, front brake kit, sport exhaust, special 18-inch alloy wheels and a variety of cosmetic tweaks.

Edmunds says: After an early stumble with the current-generation Civic line, Honda seems determined to return the Civic to the top of the compact-car heap.

Stop Windows Rebooting Automatically After Updates

In fact, it’s more than annoying.

Sometimes it’s downright infuriating – especially if you’ve been working on something in the evening, you get up from your computer and walk away without saving it and then come back in the morning to find the ‘Windows installed new updates‘ message happily grinning at you.

By default, Windows is set to install Windows Updates at about 3am and to automatically restart your computer when it’s finished.

It doesn’t really matter if you have 20 programs open or unsaved documents;  Windows simply restarts your computer – forcibly.

Here’s a few ways to prevent that from ever happening again:

Click Start > RunType gpedit.msc and click OK.Expand Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows UpdateDouble-click either “No auto-restart for scheduled Automatic Updates installations” or “No auto-restart with logged in users for scheduled automatic updates installations” (depending on your Windows version)Select the Enabled radio button and click OKRestart Windows. Click Start > RunType regedit and click OK.Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Software\Policies \Microsoft\Windows \WindowsUpdate\AU Change the “NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers” DWord value to 0 (zero)Restart Windows.

Bing Ads Updates: New Sitelink And Ad Position Reporting

Bing Ads rolled out some new reporting features in their March release. Here’s a look at the two of the biggest changes.

Ad Extensions Details

Adding to its suite of ad extensions reports, Bing Ads included a new “Ad Extensions Details” report. This reporting view shows sitelink performance data by campaign (and ad group if selected). Ad extension reporting by keyword and by ad was already available.

Top vs. Other

The Keyword Performance Report got a new feature with the “Top vs. Other” column. This new column shows the performance of ads when they are in the mainline (top of the page above the organic results) and the right side bar. You’ll find Top vs. Other by scrolling to the bottom of the Available Columns section in the report builder.

When running a report using Top vs. Other, you’ll see keyword performance data on any or all of these options:

Bing and Yahoo! search – OtherBing and Yahoo! search – TopSyndicated search partners – OtherSyndicated search partners – TopUnknown – You’ll see this if you are looking at results prior to the feature release of 3/14
